Saura painting is an ancient, ritualistic style of wall mural art created by the Saura tribe of Odisha, India, primarily dedicated to their main deity, Idital. Known locally as italons or ikons, these paintings are characterized by simple, elongated stick-like human figures, geometric patterns, and scenes representing daily life, nature, and folklore.
Dhokra (also spelt Dokra) is non–ferrous metal casting using the lost-wax casting technique. This sort of metal casting has been used in India for over 4,000 years and is still used. One of the earliest known lost wax artifacts is the dancing girl of Mohenjo-daro.
